Varsity Head Coach: Robert Dunsmore |
Coach Dunsmore has over 20 years of coaching experience. Rob is in his third year here at Dublin Jerome High School where he was the JV Head Coach for two seasons. He earned his Bachelors in Education at Nicholls State University in Thibodaux Louisiana, where is he received a Full-Athletic Scholarship.
Jerome High School being a National Blue Ribbon Award School, Coach Dunsmore understands the challenges our athletes have academically as well as athletically and that’s why he will support and encourage them on and off the court. Go Celtics!

JV Coach: Trey Fogg |
Trey Fogg has been teaching for Dublin City Schools for five years. He is an Intervention Specialist at Karrer Middle School. He has coached 7th grade boys basketball at Karrer the past two years. He earned his Bachelors of Science Degree at Ashland University in Business Administration. He received his Masters Degree in Special Education from Antioch McGregor. While at Ashland University he played football. He resides in Powell with his wife Katherine who is also a teacher at Jerome and their four children, Maddie (12), Nolan (9), Brynn (2) and Grayson (1). He has coached several of his children's athletic teams and is looking forward to the transition of coaching middle school boys to high school girls. He is excited with the opportunity he has to help continue the development of Jerome Girls Basketball.

Freshman Coach: Catherine Smith |
Catherine Smith is entering her 15th year of teaching as an Intervention Specialist at our own Dublin Jerome High School. She earned her Bachelors of Science Degree at West Virginia University in Elementary Education, specializing in Special Education and has a Masters Degree in Education from Marygrove College. She received a Full-Athletic Scholarship to play basketball at WVU and also played volleyball there for two years. Catherine is an Olentangy High School graduate and became a member of the Athletic Hall of Fame in 2010. She resides in Powell with her husband Rich and children Jacob and Paige. As a former student-athlete, Coach Smith understands the challenges girls go through and will support and encourage them on and off the court. Go Celts!

8th Grade Coach: Ali Simkins |
Coach Simkins attended Dublin Schools K-12th grade graduating from Dublin Coffman HS. She Earned her BS at Ohio State University in Human Ecology. Coach Ali has been coaching girls basketball for 11 seasons now starting at the DYA level and working up to High School where she coached the last 3 seasons. She is married to her husband Rusty & has 2 boys Tommy & Sam.

7th Grade Coach: Darrin Bowers |
Darrin Bowers joined the Celtic program three years ago when he was hired at Grizzell MS to take over the 7th grade girls basketball program.
A native of Lancaster, Ohio, Bowers spent the previous 12 years coaching at Jackson Middle School as the 8th grade girls basketball head coach.
Bowers currently teaches 8th grade Language Arts and serves as co-athletic director at Jackson Middle School in South-Western City Schools.
Bowers and his wife, Katie, have four daughters and reside in Dublin.
